U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations stopped a woman on Sunday who was trying to enter the United States with marijuana in her body.
CBP officers came across the 26 year old Canadian from Big Island, Ontario when she applied for admission to the United States at the Warroad border crossing.
Officers said the vehicle the woman was in had a strong odor of marijuana. The woman then admitted that she had concealed marijuana within a body cavity in an attempt to smuggle it over the border.
The woman taken to a local hospital where an examination revealed she was carrying about 13 grams of marijuana.
