West Fargo woman arrested for DUI and hitting police car injuring officer

A Cass County sheriff's deputy arrested a woman overnight after she crashed into a West Fargo police car. Officers say Ashley Anderson approached the traffic stop involving a West Fargo officer and struck the squad car from behind, ultimately causing his squad car to lunge forward and strike the initial vehicle the officer had stopped. The West Fargo officer officer was injured and taken to the hospital but he's expected to be ok.

Anderson was arrested for driving under the influence. Officials say her blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. The accident is still under investigation.
