Wadena Co. Sheriff releases names of two men killed in Menahga

MENAHGA, Minn. (Valley News Live) The Wadena County Sheriff's Department has identified two men who died from apparent gunshot wounds.

The men involved have been identified as Michael Callahan, age 67, of Menahga, MN and Carl Albin, age 82, of Menahga, MN.

The Menahga Police Department and the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at Oak Ave NE in Menahga around midnight on November 13th.

Authorities say they found the two men's bodies inside the home when they arrived.

The bodies were transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.

The Menahga Police Department, Wadena County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota BCA are working on this case jointly.

Law enforcement officials do not believe there is any risk to the public at this time.
