UPDATE: Police release description of suspect in armed liquor store robbery

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) UPDATE: Police have released a description of the man who they say pointed a gun at two employees at Royal Liquors and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a skinny black man, about 5'10 to 6'. He was wearing a dark blue windbreaker, black pants and sunglasses.

Authorities have confirmed the alleged robber was armed and threatened two employees before making off with some cash just before midnight on Tuesday July 11.

It's unknown how much money he got away with.

Police are investigating an apparent armed robbery at a Fargo liquor store.

They were called to Royal Liquors on Main Avenue and 16th Street around midnight, then set up a perimeter around the neighborhood as they searched for a suspect. One viewer says he also saw a large police presence at Main and about 25th Street.

There's no word yet on if police have made an arrest.
