WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live)- It's time for this week's restaurant report card, who is on the chopping block this week? And who is being awarded the Clean Plate Award?
Starting off this week's Restaurant Report Card is a quick stop that is facing three critical violations. The Petro Deli on 19th Avenue is facing citations, related to not maintaining potentially hazardous foods at the correct temperatures.
Another eatery that is facing critical violations is Speedway in West Fargo. This restaurant is being cited for exposing ready-to-eat food with their bare hands, among other things. A worker at Speedway tells us that employees work hard in the kitchen and keeping a clean environment is important.
One sports bar that is standing out from the rest is Rookies. This restaurant hasn't seen any violations in months.
"We just make sure to follow check lists and cleaning daily what needs to be done. We are a good quality restaurant, with all the other restaurants and bars in the area, we just try to maintain a good level," says Rookie's General Manager, Larry Hagan.
That's a wrap for this week's segment of Restaurant Report Card.
