FARGO AND WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - On this week's Restaurant Report Card, three restaurants with three different appeals were up on the chopping block.
You can check out their full inspection reports below.
Kentucky Fried Chicken off 25th St. in Fargo received 2 critical violations and 8 noncritical violations. The manager said the critical violations came from silly mistakes: not turning on the cooler to keep the cole slaw at the right temperature; having a broken hose on the sanitizer. The manager said she's working hard to make sure KFC receives no violations on their next inspection.
Doolittle's Woodfire Grill received 1 critical violation. However, if you take a look at their inspection reports, the same violation (not keeping potentially hazardous food at the proper temperature) was marked on their last report. Because of corporate rules, the manager couldn't comment on whether they plan to fix this reoccurring problem.
This week's Clean Plate Award goes to Brewtus' Brickhouse. They've been open almost 2 months. It's quickly becoming a popular restaurant and bar in West Fargo, which is why the employees work hard to make the best impression on every customer.
"You need to totally be on your A game all the time. We all have the same expectations. Managers are expected to do the same things as all the employees. We all work together. We're all a family and this job is important to all of us," Angela Flaten, a Brewtus' Brickhouse employee, said.
