Police investigating possible gunshot outside Walmart

FARGO (Valley News Live) 3:00 PM UPDATE:

Police pulled over a green Tahoe near 1345 Main Ave around 2:30 pm. The vehicle had license plates matching the description given by the woman who called 911.

Currently, police are searching the vehicle, and have detained two men who were inside.

Fargo Police are responding to a possible gunshot in the parking lot of the Walmart on 52nd Ave. A woman called police saying someone in a vehicle pulled up alongside her and fired a shotgun at her.

The call came in around 1:45 Monday afternoon. At this time, it does not sound like anyone was hurt in the incident.

Police were looking for a 2003 Green, Chevy Trail Blazer with at least 2 men and 1 woman inside.

Police say they are trying to determine if someone actually fired a gun, at this point they have been unable to speak with the woman who called 911. The people working inside Walmart did not hear a gunshot, according to police.

They are actively investigating the possible gunshot, and are looking for the vehicle. Adding that they don’t believe there is any concern to the public.
