Police say cause of Savanna Greywind's death is now ruled as "homicidal violence"

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live): We’re continuing to learn more details as the investigation continues into the death of Savanna Greywind. Police say the cause is officially “homicidal violence.”

The Fargo Police Department reports they’ve received the preliminary autopsy results from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner in St. Paul, the agency where Greywind’s body was sent. Police say the preliminary cause of death is “due to homicidal violence”, and that they “are unable to release the specific details of Savanna’s death, or the manner in which Savanna’s baby was born.”

Savanna Greywind’s baby was removed from a north Fargo apartment building the afternoon of Thursday, August 24th following a search warrant. Greywind’s lifeless body was discovered Sunday night duct taped and wrapped in plastic in the waters of the Red River east of Harwood, ND.
