Police: Man walks into gas station with large stick, demands cigarettes

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A 20-year-old man with no permanent address has been arrested after police say he walked into a gas station with a large stick and demanded cigarettes.

It happened around 2 a.m. on September 11th at the Simonson Station Store at 3810 Main Ave.

Lucas Kulberg, went into the store with a large stick and demanded cigarettes, according to police. Kulberg and the clerk engaged in a physical fight where Kulberg eventually ran off.

On Tuesday, September 12 around 11 p.m. Fargo Police officers were conducting Community Oriented Policing patrol in south Fargo when an Officer observed a passenger in a vehicle that passed them who looked like Kulberg. Officers arrested Kulberg and brought him to Cass County Jail. He’s facing a charge of Robbery, a Class B Felony.
