FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Thirty-three--year-old Terrance Lee Keplin of Fargo took off from police after allegedly stealing flowers and ended up hiding in the ceiling of MasterCuts inside West Acres Mall.
According to Officer Jessica Schindeldecker with the Fargo Police Department, around 1:09 p.m. Monday Keplin stole flowers from Hornbacher's on 13th Avenue.
Keplin took off on foot from Hornbacher's and headed toward West Acres Mall, police say. Officers chased him inside the shopping center.
Police say Keplin ended up barricading himself inside a back storage closet in MasterCuts Hair Salon inside the mall.
Keplin later climbed to the ceiling of MasterCuts, trying to get away from police.
Keplin also stole an undisclosed amount of money from an employees wallet, police say.
Keplin was eventually arrested and faces charges of shoplifting, refusal to halt, criminal mischief, theft and an open warrant.
