NDSU physics department to offer safe viewing of eclipse

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) The North Dakota State University physics department has scheduled a safe eclipse viewing using 50 pairs of “eclipse glasses” purchased for the event.

The public can interact with NDSU faculty and students as they view the solar eclipse.

The event starts Monday, August 21 at 11:45 a.m. at a table at the south entrance of the South Engineering building, 1211 Albrecht Blvd., Fargo.

The solar eclipse should reach a maximum of about 80 percent in Fargo-Moorhead around 1 p.m.
