FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The man named in a federal complaint, threatening to shoot North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp sent a package and several emails to VNL's Point of View program.

POV host Chris Berg said Kevin Olson has frequently commented on the show and sent emails to the show before in which he discussed his displeasure with the Affordable Care Act, Heitkamp and the Obama administration.

Shortly before Christmas, a package was delivered to the VNL studios, presumably from Olson and addressed to Berg. The package remained unopened until Tuesday.

Inside were documents detailing a complaint against the federal government and his thoughts on voting and freedom of religion.

Probable cause documents filed in federal court claim Olson not only threatened to shoot Heitkamp but also showed emails where he told the Senator "I'm coming for you!!"

U.S. Capitol Police were in Fargo Tuesday morning investigating the threats and arrested Olson at his home in South Fargo.

Fargo Police tell Valley News Live that the Red River SWAT team was called in to help execute a search warrant around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home near the 1600 block of 51st Street South.
