MN man hurt in crash on Highway 59

BECKER COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) A Minnesota man is recovering after his SUV was hit by a semi truck near Lake View Township.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 59 and County Road 17 just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Marshall Rach of Vergas was on County Road 17 and entered the intersection when he was hit by the semi.

Rach's SUV went into the ditch and the semi rolled into a ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Troopers say Rach was taken to a Detroit Lakes hospital by someone who was on scene, and that his injuries were non-life threatening.

The driver of the semi was not hurt in the crash.
