NEW TOWN, N.D. (KFYR) -- The family of Olivia Lone Bear says the North Dakota Bureau of Indian Affairs has taken the lead in the investigation into her disappearance.

The family says local authorities will continue to assist in the case.

The 33-year-old Lone Bear disappeared from the Fort Berthold Reservation on Oct. 24.

The family recently announced that it would begin canvassing cities outside of the reservation, in hopes of locating the teal truck in which she was last seen.
