MN State Trooper injured after crash near Glyndon

Clay County, Minn. (Valley News Live) A MN State Trooper was injured after a teen driver didn't see them at an intersection and rammed into the front side of the squad car.

State Patrol says the crash happened Wednesday evening around 5:30 at 28th Ave. N. and Hwy. 9 close to Buffalo River State Park.

Authorities say 28-year-old Trooper Tyler Iverson had his lights and sirens on, came to an intersection, stopped, and then kept going.

A 16-year-old boy then hit the front, driver side of the squad car.

Neither the 16-year-old or his passenger were hurt.

Iverson is expected to be ok.
