Pembina County Sheriff's deputy suspended again after investigation

PEMBINA COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) A Valley News Live whistleblower investigation uncovered an off-duty sheriff was being charged for disorderly conduct after pushing a woman in a bar. Now, the sheriff said the deputy is re-suspended.

Initially, deputy Dustin Wadholm was suspended for three days without pay. But, after being put back on the job, the Valley News Live investigation revealed criminal charges were being brought against Wadholm.

Sheriff Terry Meidinger reopened an internal investigation and decided to suspend deputy Wadholm until his case settled.

His next court hearing is scheduled for February 20th.
