UPDATE: Fargo Police Department release crime stats for 2016

Fargo Police release three new pages of revised crime stats, saying the originals are incorrect.

According to their report, robbery offenses have gone up by 30%, and vehicle thefts have gone up by 14%. Meanwhile, arson calls have gone down by 42% and the number of murders have not changed.

Total calls for service have jumped from 75,219 in 2015 to 78,784 in 2016. Arrest numbers have jumped by 445, with a 6% change. However, traffic citations and DUI arrest numbers are both down.

In 2016, the Fargo Police Department responded to 78,784 calls for service, a 5% increase from 2015. In 2016, we took 10,296 reports, a 3% increase from 2015.
