DeLuca Out With Shoulder Injury - Could be Back for Eastern Washington Game On September 10

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- North Dakota State senior linebacker Nick DeLuca left the game against Charleston Southern early in the third quarter with a shoulder injury.

On Monday Bison Head Coach Chris Klieman said DeLuca would be out 2 weeks, but could be back for Eastern Washington September 10.

The Omaha, Nebraska native led the Bison in tackles in 2015 with 135, tying a single-season school record for solo tackles with 59.

Junior Matt Plank, who filled in for DeLuca during the Charleston Southern game, is expected to fill the middle linebacker spot during practice.
