Campers spend a chilly night outside Chick-fil-A awaiting its grand opening

GRAND FORKS, ND (Valley News Live) With less than 24 hours before its grand opening, the first Chick-fil-A set to open Thursday in North Dakota, had nearly 20 people camped overnight in front of its doors.

The new Grand Forks eatery will be located at 3230 32nd Avenue South and will bring some 100 jobs to the Red River Valley area.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant is giving the first 100 eligible adults through its doors a year of free Chick-fil-A meals.

The doors will open officially Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m.
