NBC The winner of last week's huge mega millions jackpot has come forward.
The winning ticket was purchased at a 711 Store in Port Richey, Florida by 20-year old Shane Missler who matched the winning numbers of the $450 million dollar prize.
Missler has chosen to take the lump sum payment, so he'll collect nearly $282 million dollars, before taxes.
The 20-year old has not spoken publicly but did release a statement through his lawyers.
Missler says he had a feeling he might win and he hopes to use the money to pursue a variety of passions, help his family, and do some good for humanity.
Missler's lawyers say he is recently retired and plans to learn more about taking care of his finances.
