Native American Activist speaks out after President Trump's Pocahontas comment

During an event honoring Navajo code talkers on Monday, November 27th, President Trump referenced Sen. Elizabeth Warren as, "Pocahontas."

Native American Activist and American Environmentalist, Winona Laduke, shared this statement with us when we asked her about the president's comment, "Code talkers and native veterans put everything on the line for this country. It's shameful that Trump's repertoire of native courtesy is non existent....only allowing him to continue with coarse poor humor."
