ND Governor request ND National Guard assistance at pipeline protest

FARGO, N.D. (VALLEY NEWS LIVE) In a press conference today with the Morton County Sheriff's Office, North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple has requested the National Guard's presence at the Dakota Access Pipeline protests.

Along with help from the National Guard, the governor also said more patrols, additional officers, and help from other sheriffs departments around the state would be put in place at the protest sites.
