Gov. Dayton announces new proposal for MN school safety

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton announced a 21 million dollar proposal in regards to Minnesota school safety. This proposal involves bulletproof glass, secure entrances and extending mental health services. Governor Dayton is also pushing to raise the age of purchasing a firearm from 18 to 21 in Minnesota.

Bottineau school's were canceled on Wednesday, March 7th after administration received a threatening message. The person behind the threat has been interviewed by the County Sheriff's Office and Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
