Assistant State's Attorney

Salary Range: $60,322.74 - $79,594.57 annually
Status: Full-time with county benefits package

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a juris doctorate degree and a North Dakota license to practice law at thetime of hire; knowledge of effectively working with the legal process, rules, various types ofclients, governmental and court officials, the public; and use of computer software. Ongoingeducation is required. Applicants will be subject to a post offer criminal background check.

Essential Position Tasks
Provide legal services in various court actions. Prepare files for court proceedings and hearings. Present evidence and arguments in various levels of court system.

Review criminal investigations, charge violations of law, meet and interview witnesses, identifyneed for subpoenas, coordinate with law enforcement personnel, and work with defenseattorneys.
Prepare and type memos, motions, and legal briefs. Calculate restitution figures for crimevictims.
Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Equipment Operator II Position

Stutsman County is accepting applications for a full-time Equipment Operator II position. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintaining roads through operating a variety of medium to heavy equipment, including various types of trucks, oil distributors, bobcat, forklift, loader, blade, snowplow, sand and fuel trucks. Maintain trucks and equipment. Change oil, grease equipment, clean shop, and maintain records of work performed. May place & install signs, operate patching machine, router, rubber machine, and packer, maintain equipment and any other duties as assigned or apparent.

Minimum requirements include: a minimum of 1-2 years related equipment operation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience and must hold a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Full benefits package is available.

Stutsman County is currently accepting applications for a full-time Information Technology Assistant.

The successful job candidate will help support and maintain a Windows network environment and provide technical support to end users. A four year degree in technology or a related field, or an equivalent of education and experience to that of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Full benefit package available.

Starting annual salary range is $48,391 - $56,698 depending on specific job experience and qualifications.

Communications Specialist
Stutsman County is hiring a full time Communications Specialist to answer phones, dispatch emergency responders and perform other duties. Following probation, primary shift will be midnight-10AM working 40 hr a week. Beginning salary is $2547.69 per month; following probation, salary will be $2748.43 per month. There is also night shift differential pay between the hours of 10PM and 6AM. No experience necessary.
