The Winnipeg Goldeyes jumped out to an 8-0 lead and held on for an 8-4 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Saturday night at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo in front of 3,990 fans. The Fish were able to manufacture a run early in the ball game. With one out, walking Brock Bond moved all the way to third on a single by Luis Alen.
