The McDonald's High School Challenge, now in its 9th year and hosted by weeknight news anchor Mike Morken, is the only televised academic competition among high school students in the region. The competition is designed to honor and foster academic excellence. The McDonald's High School Challenge presents a unique opportunity to showcase students' academic achievements and abilities.

The McDonald's High School Challenge is televised every Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. on KX4 beginning in October. See the full program schedule here.
