    Olympic Gold Medalist Makes Stop in Moorhead

    The Moorhead Spuds wrestling team held a fundraiser at the Meadows Golf Course this afternoon and they were lucky enough to be visited by a legend. Olympic gold medalist Dan Gable was in town for the USA Junior Cadets National Wrestling Tournament at the FargoDome and made it a point to stop by the event in Moorhead.

    NDSU baseball headed down to Sioux Falls, SD to take on top seeded South Dakota State in the opening round of the Summit League Baseball Tournament. Fresh off a home series with the Jackrabbits the Bison had a good idea of what to expect from their neighbors to the south and the prep paid off for NDSU. They upset SDSU 4-3 and advance to the winner's bracket for tomorrow's action.
