Soon The Snow Will Melt Into Orange Cones: Fargo Road Construction Plans
It won’t be long before snow on the roads gives way to orange cones. Crews have started widening the 12th Avenue North bridge in Fargo. They will replace the entire driving surface and about half of the concrete beams. Work should be done in late fall 2009. In south Fargo, new loop ramps will be added to the 52nd Avenue and I-29 interchange, and 52nd will be widened. Drivers will be able to use the interchange by late this fall. And the 9th Street East overpass at I-94 in West Fargo is being delayed a year because of shifting soil.
