Investigators Found New Evidence for the Nichols Murder Trial
A state crime bureau agent says investigators found a receipt for a magnifying scope that could be used on a handgun and packaging for ammunition when they searched trash outside the Fargo home of Aron Nichols and Tamara Sorenson. The two are on trial in Devils Lake in the deaths of 70-year-old Donald Willey and his 67-year-old wife, Alice. The Wells County couple were found dead in their burned home near Sykeston last April.
