A news conference Tuesday afternoon introduced Minnesota's newest millionaires.

Paul and Sue Rosenau of Waseca County picked the winning numbers in Saturday night's drawing. Their prize is worth $180.1 million.

Paul Rosenau said his wife didn't believe him at first; he apparently has teased her in the past about having the winning numbers.

Paul saw the numbers drawn on television Saturday night; Sue didn't believe him until seeing them repeated later in the newscast.

They checked them again the next morning in the newspaper.

"It's still something you can't get your head around," Sue Rosenau said.

Paul Rosenau says he bought the ticket at a HyVee store. It was a quick pick selection. Paul says he has no intention of quitting his job as a heavy equipment operator. "I love what I do," he said.

It's the largest jackpot ever won by Minnesotans; the previous largest jackpot prize in Minnesota was $150 million and was awarded to Farrah Slad in 1999.

Paul Rosenau had tears in his eyes as he and his wife claimed their Powerball prize. The 54-year-olds claimed the prize and decided to take a lump sum of $88 million, which results in about $59.6 million after taxes. The couple says the win came on the fifth anniversary of the death of their granddaughter, who had a genetic disease. So, they say, some of the money might go toward efforts to fight that disorder.
