Thousands were breakfasting for a cause at The 53rd Annual Kiwanis Pancake feed.
This year they were hoping to sell 11-12,000 pancakes.
Kiwanis members say they are always overjoyed with the out-pouring of support, especially from the volunteers.
The called for about 600 volunteers this year and ended up with 800, Valley News Live's own Steve Poitras was among them.
"We can't run this function without volunteers so we're very thankful for them, they're doing a fabulous job," Craig Tait, Kiwanis Pancake Feed chairman, said.
The event raises about $60-70,000 a year. The money goes to support 10 different organizations, including the Ronald McDonald house, the YWCA, and The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center.
Former Bison QB Brock Jensen has been released from the Miami Dolphins. Just two months ago, the quarterback was invited to training camp as a free agent.
